LAPRAIRIE is currently recruiting permanent full-time Class 1 Drivers to expand our team of transportation and logistics professionals in the areas of Fort St. John and Prince George in British Columbia; Fort McMurray and Lloydminster in Alberta and Winnipeg in Manitoba.

You are an experienced, enthusiastic and hard-working Equipment Operator. You bring a Class 1 driver's license and take pride in operating heavy equipment and bulk materials.

Essential Responsibilities*

• Haul various bulk materials (in Super B grain trailer configuration)
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
• Operate loading and unloading equipment as required
• Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch
• Complete daily paperwork accurately and on time
• Maintain a clean and organized truck
• Ability to navigate work sites, and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work
• Excellent communication skills

• Work outside in all weather conditions

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks
• Must possess a valid Class 1 driver’s license with air endorsement

• Must provide a copy of a clear 3-year driver’s abstract
• Two or more years of heavy haul or bulk haul experience
• Must be an experienced Winch Truck and Semi Truck driver
• Availability to work overtime when needed

Work Conditions

• Shift work, on-call, and night shift may be required
