About our Client

Our client is the Federal Government of Canada. They are currently looking to hire a Clerk on a full-time temporary basis for their Abbotsford location. The shifts run from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday. This position is for 3 months to start with a high possibility of extension and offers a wage rate of $15.65 an hour. Responsibilities

• Answering telephones, managing emails, and scheduling appointments
• Handling and processing basic paperwork and files
• Creating basic documents, photocopying, and scanning
• Entering basic data into reports and spreadsheets
• Other entry-level duties as required

Qualifications

• At least 1-year previous experience in an office environment
• Approved Reliability Status security clearance with the Canadian Government, or a willingness to get the required clearance through us
• Must have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years, without leaving for more than 6 consecutive months
• Must be willing to complete a criminal record check and fingerprinting
• Basic MS Office skills
• Organizational skills
• Friendly and personable demeanor
• Must be fully vaccinated
