Ottawa Valley Tree Experts has been operating for over 30 years offering quality tree services to Ottawa, Carleton Place, Arnprior and the surrounding areas. We are looking to hire hard-working, reliable, experienced Climbers & Ground Workers. These positions are full-time, year-round with compensation ranging from $18.00 to $35.00 per hour. (Based on experience)
The ideal candidates will have:
· Experience in professional tree climbing (for Climbers)
· Be able to perform tree trimming & removal according to industry standards (for Climbers)
· Experience with chainsaws, rigging, lowering devices, chippers, stump grinders & other tree service equipment
· Excellent oral communication & clear written correspondence
· A good work ethic, team player & have effective interpersonal skills
· Keen interest in safety for self & fellow workers
· An apprenticeship program is available for arboriculturist
· DZ driver’s license
· Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
You will need your own transportation as there is no public transit to our shop. West end Ottawa location (Stittsville).
