NASS is looking for CNC Machinist in Brampton for an Automotive company.
***Must have experience in MasterCam, Programming, CAD/CAM, and 3D machine***

Role Summary:
The Machinist is responsible for the set up of multiple machining centers by assisting in the assembly and delivery of tooling to aid in efficient machine operation. Position may also assist with machine operation with instruction and supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup the CNC 3- AXIS Vertical Machining Centre.
- Setup the high precision metal parts.
- Programming and Machining of NC Blocks and 3D Machined parts.
- Read and interpret the blueprints.
- Demonstrates the ability to notice abnormal conditions in setups and request clarification from Setup Machinist Level 3.
Key Qualifications/Requirements Education:
- College diploma / University degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience an asset.
- Previous experience as a setup machinist an asset
- Some exposure and knowledge of CAM software is an asset.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills
