The Economy Sector is comprised of four Ministries including the: Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development, and Innovation; Ministry of Municipal Affairs; Ministry of Labour; and Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport. The Management Services Division provides services to corporate planning, financial services, information systems, facilities management, and strategic human resources (SHR).

The Internal Communications unit’s mandate is to develop ministry internal communications plans; prepare communication materials on behalf of ministry executive staff; design and maintain the intranet site; and coordinate internal ministry events.

Job Requirements:
Education and Experience

  • Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English or equivalent.
    • An equivalent amount of education and related experience may be accepted.
  • One (1) years’ experience writing and editing communications materials.
  • One (1) years’ experience using software such as, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and content management systems for web products.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Certified to use CMS Lite
  • Two (2) or more years experience:
    • writing and editing communications materials.
    • experience using software such as, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and content management systems for web products.

About this Position:
