The Exciting Position:

Reporting to the Technical Director, the Technician, will be responsible for Technical, Service and delivery, technical services calls, maintenance, demos and logistics to ensure that all our professional (delivery and maintenance) expectations are met while providing excellent end user support in the most efficient manner possible. Position Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical assistance to the technical director, clients, and team members.
  • Assists in ensuring technical department compliance with QA requirements.
  • Assists in the implementation of the Regular Maintenance Program.
  • Attends technical service calls as requested.
  • Liaise with inter-departmental team on any technical requirements they may have.
  • Technical Service Calls (repairs and maintenance)
  • Equipment and Delivery & Set up
  • Equipment Return
  • Assist with demonstrations and events

Qualifications and Skills:

The Superstar:

We are looking for an individual who is strategic, proactive, energetic and has relevant experience as a Technical Service manager. The superstar we want as part of our SharpLight family is professional, engaging, friendly and detail-oriented.

Required Education & Experience:

  • College Diploma in Electronics (Nice to have)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Technical/Technician experience
  • Basic Technical Skills - assemble & disassemble equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Lift 50kgs (110lbs)
