Cook 2 Job at Northern Health Region
This classification involves performing kitchen related duties at a moderate level of difficulty and responsibility.
Incumbents provide daily meal service for clients in residential treatment facilities and those clients attending day
programs. The Cook 2 is responsible for the maintenance of clean kitchen and dining area(s) on a daily basis. A Cook 2
reports to the Supervisor of the Residential Program area.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of a recognized cooking course at the technical or community college level and/or a suitable
- Food Handlers Training Certificate is required.
- Must be physically capable of performing duties as assigned including being able to lift and carry weights of up
- Satisfactory employment record required
- Successful candidate subject to provide security checks in accordance with Security Checks for Employment
