This role will be based out of our Cornwall location, and is full-time and permanent.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing onsite customer service, field repair and maintenance of Printers and Multifunctional Printers (MFP’s) in our customer locations, including:
    • Troubleshooting to conclude and address issues
    • Cleaning machine(s) inside and out
    • Verifying firmware and software are up to date
    • Proactively identifying issues, and communicating effectively with clients around solutions and next steps
    • Answering inquiries that customers may have regarding repair, maintenance or use of machines
    • Effectively and proactively uses parts to maximize machine reliability and keep up with part life yields
    • Performing the total call routine to maximize time and number of copies/prints between calls
    • Accurately closing calls in a timely manner through the dispatching software
    • Collaborating alongside Management and within the Team to achieve response times for territory goals
    • Working alongside the Parts Department to track, order and reorder parts as required, and informing the Parts Manager of any outstanding or incomplete parts
    • Notifying Management and Sales of any customer issues requiring escalation
    • Other duties as assigned

As a successful candidate, you will have:

  • A College diploma in technical, computer or electrical education
  • Minimum of two to three (2-3) years related experience, with certified training and service experience preferred
  • Two to five (2-5) years printer repair experience considered a strong asset
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, strong computer proficiency and effect troubleshooting skills, with proven attention to detail
  • Valid A+ and /or Network+ certifications, an asset
  • Exceptional communication skills, including interpersonal and customer service experience
  • A positive attitude and outlook, promoting OT Group’s services and striving for outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and vehicle travel to customer locations is required (mileage compensation provided)
