Tridon Communications is currently seeking a Corporate Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Edmonton Head Office on a 1 year contract with the possibility for permanent placement.

Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Inventory & Purchasing, will be responsible for overseeing inventory processes and procedures related to the accurate and timely procurement and distribution of parts to all company locations, as well as overseeing the acquisition, maintenance, and optimum utilization of rental assets. Both systems must have high efficiency supply chain management.

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an inventory oriented environment
  • Experience with inventory systems and asset management
  • Experience working with communications technology and warehouse management systems considered an asset

Must Haves:

  • Certificate or Diploma in related field
  • Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and computer databases
  • Problem solving skills and ability to drill down to root cause
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Effective listening and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Inventory management data base systems
  • Quick to learn, patient, and easily adaptable to ever changing demands and requirements
  • Knowledge of safety standards related to office, shop and warehouse environments
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License non GDL
  • Clean driving record within the last 5 years
  • High attention to detail
  • Prioritization and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Team Player

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to spend the day alternatively sitting, and walking or standing
  • Some warehouse duties, including, lifting, moving materials up to 30 lbs. will be a requirement
  • May be required to look at a computer screen for long periods of time
  • Driving to various company locations on a quarterly basis

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
