Customer Service Representative
Diversified Transportation is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative for our Northern Health Connections operation in Prince George. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a key position that requires confidentiality, maturity, diplomacy and the ability to work with all levels of staff and the public. This is a full-time position. The shift will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1 hour lunch break. Reliable transportation is required as there is no public transit servicing the business location.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Exemplary customer service skills with previous experience in a customer facing / customer service position
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
- Ability to remain composed, tactful, and professional in all communications
- Team-oriented with the ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
- Confident, pleasant and welcoming disposition
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Book travel and process ticket sales
- Answer phones / respond to client or passenger inquiries
- Assist drivers with inquiries or concerns
- Creation of memos and other written documents
- Filing of invoices
- Arrange hotel room bookings for drivers
- Restock and order supplies
- Data entry for fuel and other information
- Various other administrative duties as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $16.00 per hour
