Are you interested in the aviation industry; and do you have experience or interest with customer service? As a Customer Service Representative, you will work in a team environment, working with flight crews and passengers. We invite you to become a member of the Gateway Facilities Flight Support team.

Expectations:

  • Delivering a proactive, personalized service experience to Private and Corporate Aviation clientele.
  • Arranging services including hotel, catering, and ground transportation.
  • Coordinating aircraft services, such as fuel and hangar storage.
  • Effectively communicating via air-to-ground radio and ground-to-ground radio, in addition to other forms of communication.
  • Educating customers on available services, promotions and programs.
  • Processing customer invoices.
  • Answering customer questions and resolving issues as necessary.
  • We are looking for team members with a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • MUST possess a valid Driver's License and have a reliable method of transportation
  • MUST PROVIDE a criminal background check issued by local police
  • MUST PROVIDE original birth certificate, which is needed for Transport Canada application
  • MUST PROVIDE original valid passport, which is needed for Transport Canada application
  • MUST be able to pass security clearance through Halifax Stanfield International Airport
  • Hold a Transport Canada, Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) an asset
  • Hold a Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP) an asset
  • Previous FBO experience an asset
  • Experience in aviation industry an asset
  • First aid and WHMIS an asset

Work schedule: full time training (days), part time then increasing to full time permanent M-F 2-10pm, must be able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends as scheduled.

Position will be permanent full time
