Rubicon Organics’ mission is to grow the best cannabis on earth and for the earth and today we are doing just that out of our state-of-the art greenhouse facility located in Delta, B.C.We are growing and expanding quickly, with national distribution across Canada. We are launching many new products each quarter as we bring exciting new genetics and extracted products to market in Canada and around the world. As the data analyst your purpose is to drive sales through easy accessible accurate data.

Responsibilities*

  • Gather, organize, and input data and relevant information into spreadsheets and systems to ensure accurate and timely information is being maintained for our commercial and operations team
  • Audit data to ensure accuracy while identifying gaps in data sets, requesting additional information or clarification, and making corrections where necessary
  • Working with internal stakeholders, request and assist with building reports based on department needs
  • Provide timely reporting and analytics to support management team on decision making
  • Effectively communicate with key stakeholders within the organization to ensure we are effectively implementing and improving processes and data integrity
  • Create documentation that allows clear understanding and replication of the data analysis and reporting processes
  • Provide general administrative support for the department

Requirements:

  • University Degree (business, statistics, mathematics)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related role
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel required. Experience using Power BI considered a strong asset)
  • Experience participating in a new system implementation considered an asset
  • Strong analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Open communication which is based on an open, collaborative and solution-focused mindset
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with an open mindset to new ideas and challenges that come your way
  • Flexible to adapt to shifting priorities and managing multiple priorities

This position will report to the Business Insights and Development Director and will be based for the majority of the time in Vancouver BC.
