Job Title: Data Analyst (Intermediate/Senior)
Location: Nepean, Ottawa, ON
Duration: 12+ months (with possible extension)

Job Description:
The Data Analyst should have the following experience and qualifications:
o Completed an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or in a related field.
o Minimum 7 years in a data analysis role involving reporting/analytics projects, data warehouse and/or data platforms.
o Azure Data Lake Experience
o Data Modelling, Data Architecture
o Experience providing analysis of data linage (both technical and business) and in depth analysis of data sources to verify conformity to Business Rules and Data Quality standards.
o Demonstrated knowledge of Data Management and Data Governance.
o Experience interacting with business units and aligning IT principles of data management principles.
o Ability to elicit data requirements from business use cases
o Ability to simplify technology/data communications for business consumption
o Preferred Qualifications:
o Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile principles and the Scrum Framework
