We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to type information into our database from paper documents. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and a fast typist with a keen eye for detail. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.

Responsibilities:

1. Transfer data from paper formats to our computer database

2. Type in data provided directly from customers

3. Entering many orders with minimal errors

4. Verify data by comparing it to source documents

5. Update existing data

6. Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested

7. Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Requirements and skills

  • Proven experience as data entry clerk
  • Fast typing skills with accuracy
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills (you will be required to confirm with client based on a needed bases)
  • Great attention to detail
  • Brand knowledge an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
