Position: Data Sort Supervisor - Full-time

Hours: To be determined, hours will vary Sunday through Saturday

Rotation for sick call replacement

Education: Post-secondary diploma

MLA or MLT preferred

Job Details: Reporting to the Director of Operations the successful candidate will support the leadership team to create an efficient and effective organization that strives for the ultimate customer satisfaction, quality, continuous improvement and shareholder value. Responsible for the overall operation of the department, as well as day to day operations, ensuring specimens are collected and tested appropriately, providing active leadership and direction for all departmental staff. This role will work in conjunction with Pre-analytical Administrator Specimen Collection Center Supervisors.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a Supervisory/Leadership role.
• 3 – 5 years in a diagnostic laboratory environment.
• Attitude and experience maintaining excellent customer service.
• Understanding and application of IQMH, ISO or quality management principles or system.
