Data visualization expert for market research studies

Our company is looking for an experienced data visualization expert for market research studies with advanced PowerPoint experience.

The data visualization expert will be reviewing a reporting brief with directions on what charts are needed and what they need to communicate. They will then identify how best to find the data relevant to the charts, create the charts and other graphic elements for the reports, and extract the right data for these charts. The data visualization expert will help ensure that the data presented in reports are accurate and easily understood by the reader.

Things that the successful candidate will have…

• 4+ years data visualization work experience, ideally in market research
• Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel and Word
• Experience working with large sets of data and figuring out how best to find the data needed for the graphs
• A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize important work
• High attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication in English
• Experience creating tabulation plans are an asset, but not required
• Experience working with Qualtrics, R, and Tableau are also nice-to-haves, but are not required

Where you’ll work

This is a work from home role. Our offices are located in Vancouver, BC. However, candidates who live outside of British Columbia and Canada may apply.

Commitment

The successful candidate will engage in a trial period, after which the commitment required averages 30 hours a week.
