Central Coast Marine Services is looking for an experienced small tug deckhand to join our team.
Central Coast Marine Services supports coastal businesses and communities that operate in the Central / North Coast areas including Vancouver Island North, by providing reliable tug and barge freight, equipment, and fuel transportation services to and from remote sites from Knights inlet to Hartley Bay.
Specific Skills
- Have experience as a deckhand of a tug towing barges up to including management of the activities of deck and barge.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo/freight
- Control, steer and navigate a vessel in various waterways
- Operate loading equipment as well as cargo/freight equipment
