Lecoupe Ice is looking to add a new enthusiastic member to our family!
Spend your time working independently and outdoors in a physically active and fun environment. This position of delivery helper requires you to spend most of your time driving around beautiful Northern Ontario/Muskoka, and the other portion of your time giving customers their ice deliveries while building and maintaining positive relationships with those customers. Our helpers spend their days delivering ice to convenience, gas and grocery retailers according to pre-determined routes.
What we offer:
- Only work 3 days a week while obtaining full time hours (40 hours week)
- Same schedule every week all summer (promoting work/life balance)
- $1 raise every returning summer
- Opportunity to stay overnight in Wawa, Sault St.Marie, New Liskeard, Kapuskasing (paid hotel, food)
Responsibilities:
- Help the truck driver load and unload the ice out of the truck
- Help fill customer ice machines
- Keep the truck clean and organized throughout the shift
Qualifications:
- Must be physically fit enough to lift 40 lbs all day
- Must be available to work every second weekend
- Ability to work 11-13 hour shifts
- Dependability — Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
- Cooperation — Job requires being pleasant with the driver and customers and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
