Delivery Driver Job at Birkby Food Service Ltd
As a Commercial Delivery Driver, you will have the ability to work well on your own and have a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly and safely. You enjoy working on different jobs and learning new Routes. You are not afraid of hard work and you are able to perform well in a fast paced and physically demanding environment.
General Requirements/ Qualifications:
· Have a valid Class 5-Q license with Air Preferred
· Provide a clean 3-year drivers abstract
· 3+ years route distribution / sales experience preferred
· Provide a criminal background check; MUST BE BONDABLE
· Have strong attention to detail
· Good geographic knowledge of the Calgary region and surrounding areas
· Load and Unload goods according to company procedure
· Must be able to lift 40 pounds - Hand bombing will be required
· Must be polite, respectful and considerate at all times
· Ability to manage customer inquiries in a professional manor
· Must be reliable and punctual
