Job Description

This job includes consistent weekly deliveries and many opportunities for extra hours with special product deliveries, warehouse tasks, and container unloading and palletizing. Weekly deliveries occur on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and encompass about twenty-two hours a week. Opportunities for non-scheduled and flexible hours can occur at any time of the week. Weekly available hours are generally between 20 and 30 hours.

Job responsibilities include:

With a team member, accurately loading a large delivery truck with products as outlined in the manifests and delivering them to restaurants around the city of Calgary.

Unloading and palletizing containers of products and, with a forklift, stacking them in the warehouse area (forklift training provided).

This is a physical job requiring the loading and unloading of packages weighing up to twenty kg, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.

As the company grows there will be opportunities to branch into areas such as customer care, invoicing, bank deposits, scheduling, and supervision.

Requirements

Great communications and customer relations skills are a must.If you are dependable, work with pride, enjoy people and are a great communicator you will love this job.

Recent experience driving a large delivery truck (5 ton size - Bubble Soft uses a Hino 24 foot) is a must as required for insurance purposes, along with a personal and clean driving abstract with no at-fault claims for at least three years.

The majority of work hours will be working in pairs, though you must feel comfortable working alone.

Forklift experience is preferred though certified training will be supplied if required.

Computer and automotive experience is desired.

A willingness to work flexible hours coupled with enthusiasm to work activities with little notice (Sometimes less than two days) is required.

Compensation/Benefits

The wage offered for this position is $24 per hour. Wages grow with increased responsibilities and there are opportunities for those.
