Reporting to the CEO, the Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting Prep Culinary products safely and in a timely manner throughout GTA and our Southern Ontario delivery area.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate vehicle in a safe manner at all times, abiding by company rules as well as all government traffic regulations and laws
• Responsible for loading and transporting of product in an effective and efficient manner
• Safely lifting product (at times) up to 25 kg
• Follow all necessary food safety and health and safety policies, including customers procedures while on their site
• Maintain files, trip records and routines needed to insure the efficient operation of the delivery vehicle
• Conduct pre-shift truck circle check
• Immediately report any vehicle maintenance issues or concerns to management
• Maintain the cleanness of assigned vehicle
• Wear required and necessary safety personal protective equipment
• Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications, special training & experience required:

• Must currently be, and maintain insurability
• Valid Ontario Class D or Class G driver’s license
• Safe driving record for at least 3 years (driver’s abstract required)
• Letter of experience (at least 3 years) from prior employer or prior insurer
• Experience in driving a 5-ton truck, other large vehicles, or in commercial delivery
• Experience in customer service would be an asset, not a requirement

• Able to prioritize and handle deadlines effectively
