Dutch Love Cannabis Company is a modern retailer of recreational cannabis in British Columbia and Ontario. Our aim is to make the cannabis buying experience disarming, compassionate, and human. We were publicans first by virtue with two decades experience in hospitality as the Freehouse Collective (formerly the Donnelly Group), running public houses, cocktail clubs and barbershops. Cannabis delivery is now available in Ottawa and Dutch Love Cannabis is looking for part-time delivery drivers in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Loading cannabis orders into a company vehicle or e-bike
• Following a pre-planned delivery route using the delivery app
• Carrying a copy of the retail store licence as identification while providing delivery services
• Ensuring the name, address and ID provided by the patron at the point of sale matches the order details
• Collecting the name and signature of the individual who receives the delivery
• Verifying the individual purchasing cannabis is 19 years of age or older
• Ensuring cannabis is not delivered to individuals who are intoxicated
• Providing outstanding customer service while ensuring all customers have a world class delivery experience

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 19+ years of age
• Valid driver's license
• 3 years of driving experience on a full license
• Use of vehicle with up to date insurance
• Valid, clean driver's abstract and driving record
• Clean criminal record check (reimbursed after 3 month probationary period)
• Ability to work flexible hours in all weather conditions
• General knowledge of the Ottawa area
• Legally authorized to work in Canada

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 - 30 per week

Salary: $17.00-$18.25 per hour
