Key Responsibilities:
*** Please note this position requires travel to our Mississauga, Brampton, and Oakville locations.

  • Providing patient care and support in an enthusiastic way, building a personal connection at every visit.
  • Desire to help, educate and improve our patients’ lives.
  • Collect patient’s dental and relevant medical history, to reference during examinations.
  • Prepare patients for the Orthodontist.
  • Preparing patient and equipment for X-Rays
  • Taking X-Rays and following all safety procedures as required
  • Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits and treatment progress.
  • Updating patient records and examination notes
  • Perform all lab duties/requirements as instructed by the Orthodontist or leadership team.
  • Prepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
  • Call patients for aftercare and answer questions
  • Travel to satellite locations if/when necessary
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work cohesively with fellow team members to provide an atmosphere of trust, respect, and cooperation.
  • Possess great energy for a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a Level II Dental Assisting Program and NDAEB certification required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
  • Great time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in an orthodontic office is preferred but not required. New graduates are welcome!
  • Current CPR and First Aid training.
