Job description
We are a busy dental office currently looking to hire a full-time dental receptionist to join our team of professionals.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Exceptional customer service skills, with a positive and enthusiastic personality
• Ability to work under pressure and open to learning new skills, systems and processes.

Your Responsibilities Would Include But Not Be Limited To:

• Checking-in/Checking-out Patients
• Assisting patients in filling out forms as needed
• Handling calls efficiently and in a timely manner
• Prescreening patients whether by phone, text or email
• Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments
• Submitting and following up on Insurance Claims & Predeterminations for patients.
• Responding to patient inquiries (via Phone, E-mail, Text or In-Person) & updating the system accordingly.
• Maintaining the recall system and filling gaps in the schedule
• Collecting money for services rendered at time of appointment
• Scheduling follow-up appointments and referrals as noted by the providers at checkout

Requirements:

• Completion of a Dental Diploma
• 1-2 years experience in a dental office setting
• Experience using Tracker Software is an asset
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a positive and enthusiastic personality
• Multi-Tasking
• Team Player
• Must be available evening and weekends

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers are required to wear a mask upon entry, regular sanitization of the front as well as bathrooms, HEPA filters in each operatory, proper ODA and College of Registered Dental Hygienist protocols followed
