JOB OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will support our team’s campaigns and day-to-day operations. You’ll work in a multi-faceted role and be responsible for coordinating digital projects, preparing reports, quality assurance of our digital properties, and administrative duties. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong organization skills and an excellent eye for detail.

You’ll have the opportunity to work in collaboration with team members who are subject matter experts in digital marketing, user experience design, online fundraising, and web development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone new to digital marketing to build experience within a large digital team environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Update website content through content management system, using HTML and CSS.
  • Edit and resize images for web banners, emails and advertising placements using Photoshop.
  • Participate in website testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
  • Run reports, analyze data, and consolidate results in PowerPoint presentations.
  • Coordinate administration for campaigns.
  • Coordinate event creation in Salesforce by working closely with CRM team.
  • Act as first point-of-contact and digital coordinator for Independent Fundraising program.
  • Support the creation of online fundraising activities in Luminate Online platform.
  • Participate in content migration and configuration for transition projects.
  • Conduct audits, organize files, and enforce data integrity standards.
  • Ensure that content adheres to CCS’s visual identity and web development standards.
  • Actively participate in knowledge sharing and cross-training opportunities
  • Support processes and practices to align efficiencies across the country
  • Build strong working relationships with team members
  • Actively contribute to our culture of justice, belonging, equity, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring that all staff feel represented and heard regardless of their gender, age, religion, ethnicity, and nationality or race.
  • Other projects/duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University or college degree with 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or other relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Experience working within a CMS website environment. Sitecore experience is considered an asset.
  • Basic design skills and knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Experience coordinating and maintaining schedules, project plans, and/or content calendars.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player and demonstrate personal initiative to complete the work.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is a strong asset.
