Digital Marketing Specialist

Our client is looking for you to join their team as their Digital Marketing Specialist within York Region. They are looking for a specialist that can take their digital marketing programs to the next level. This includes:

  • Social media engagement;
  • Search ranking optimization; and
  • Enhancing the customer experience on their eCommerce platforms.

Your Future Role:

  • Conduct maintenance and update corporate and dealer websites and continuously identify opportunities for enhancements;
  • Create HTML email campaigns and report on their success;
  • Research and copywriting for corporate and dealer websites, blogs and social media channels;
  • Source and create eCommerce product content that enhances the buyer experience;
  • Manage SEO and SEM strategies;
  • Contribute to UI development and UX optimization projects;
  • Execute, monitor and report on PPC campaigns;
  • Troubleshoot technical issues on websites as required;
  • Report and analyze on KPIs for all digital channels;
  • Attend occasional offsite meetings and industry conferences;
  • Designing monthly flyers, annual catalogue and social media campaigns; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • University or College Degree in a field that includes marketing, communications or web design;
  • A minimum of two years’ in related experience;
  • Website management experience (HTML5, CSS, WordPress);
  • Strong knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices;
  • Familiarity with managing multiple social media channels;
  • Experienced with managing and working with Hub Spot;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc.);
  • Experienced with Google tools (Analytics, Search Console, Ads, etc.);
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a high attention to detail;
  • Strong communication/interpersonal, customer service skills, problem solver and time management capabilities; and
  • The ability to receive and incorporate feedback/input from individuals across all levels of the organization.
