York Professional Pet Sitting and Dog Walking is one of the largest pet care companies in Newmarket and surrounding areas. We are local owned and operated since 2000 and are looking for dedicated animal lovers to join our team. Our dog walking and pet care provider positions are a unique combination of high-level customer service for both our human and animal clients.

In this role, you’ll get to meet some of our cutest pups, cats and other family pets, and know you’re helping their humans by caring for their fur-babies when they can't be there. If you love animals, his position could be for you.

Looking for animal lovers to add to our ever-growing 17 employee team who is interested in making up to $1000 / MONTH (the more you work the more you will earn) loving pets.

Your shifts will involve:

• Driving to clients' homes to care for their pets. Our service area is Click here
• Walking and caring for dogs while the humans are at work or unable to walk them during the day. Caring for cats and other family pets (rabbits, birds, etc) when their families are on vacation, business trip etc.
• Duties may include scooping litter boxes, refreshing water bowls, feeding and administering medication as required.
• When clients are on vacation may also include home care such as watering plants, picking up mail, taking garbage to and from curb.
• Pretending you're a professional pet photographer on each visit. Our clients love getting pics of their pets, and so do our social media followers- We hope you like taking selfies, videos and filling up your phone with cute pet pictures!
• Sending detailed updates to the Pet Parents via our free app with some of those amazing photos you took.
• Logging into our instagram or social media account to share your day as a dog walker/pet care provider.
• Assisting with other tasks when needed such as putting up posters, handing out information about our business within the communities you walk in etc.

Some basic job requirements:

• Canadian citizens or legally authorized to work in the Canada for at least the next 12 months
• Over 18 years of age (insurance requirements)
• Reliable Smart phone with data
• Own their own reliable vehicle and be comfortable driving in all weather conditions and when dark.
• Local full-time resident of the Newmarket/Aurora/Holland Landing/Sharon area. Applicants not in these areas will not be considered.
• Able to provide a current police issued background check if hired. Link can be provided if job offer is accepted or you can obtain your own.
• Able to receive regular direct deposit.
• Able to commit to this position for 12 months from date of hire
• Available for Monday - Friday 10 - 3, 2 evenings a month and every 4th weekend. PLEASE NOTE - weekends are NOT partial weekends we need availability for one full weekend every 4th week. From 6PM on a Friday up to 9:30PM on a Sunday. This does not mean you will be working straight through but we need availability.

How Much Can I Make?

Our Dog Walkers can make up to $1000.00 / month while filling their dog, cat, puppy and kitten-cuddling needs each week! The more you work the bigger your paycheque. Our staff say that it is the "best job ever" and "the pets I care for make me smile every day"
