Dog Walker/Pet Sitter Job at On Leash

On Leash is looking for dog lovers to join the family! We specialize in dog walking and positive reinforcement training in Kelowna and West Kelowna.

Starting in January, get paid an average of $20/h to work and play with dogs and up to $50/h! We are looking for animal lovers with a passion for the outdoors.

The candidate must love animals, be driven, responsible, confident, patient, efficient, able to make fast decisions, able to manage their own schedule, communicate efficiently with manager/clients/team, comfortable working alone. Learn about positive reinforcement training.

Managing your own schedule, including days off and vacation, and decide on your work commute by picking your favorite work locations! Experience with dogs preferred.

The candidate must have a valid BC driver license with a reliable car.

Upon being hired and before starting to work, the candidate must complete their Pet 1st Aid certification, which can be deducted on your tax return (form provided). Once completed, the candidate will proceed to learning about dog behaviors through our online training. No hands-on training provided. The candidate must be confident working with dogs and have experience handling them. ***GAS IS NOT PAID but we recommend to keep your receipt as you might be able to claim them as work expense.
