Adaptive Homes is a high-performance home building company that delivers prefabricated modular buildings. We provide high quality energy efficient homes that are built off-site in small batches, delivered and assembled. We use tech-enabled practices throughout our design and development phase and innovative thinking when constructing our homes. Our homes are built to meet progressive energy efficient building standards such as Passive House and early adopt the BC Energy Step Code objectives (net-zero emission buildings).
We are looking for a skilled Draftsperson to join our growing company! The draftsperson will possess strong attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines. The successful candidate should be someone who can be self-motivating, have excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. Some key roles and qualifications include:
- Helping Designer in preparation of architectural drawings (Building Permits, Construction drawings)
- Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
- Has experience with Autocad and BIM software (REVIT)
- Proficient computer skills
- Understand BCBC
- SEMA software or shop drawings carpentry software
- Understand passive house principles and building construction practices
- Other tasks assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $28.00-$32.50 per hour
