Based in our Moose Creek distribution centre, we are looking for hard working drivers to shunt from Ottawa to Montreal or provide customer deliveries throughout the cities. You are customer service focused and professional when providing local deliveries to our clients. You can work 40–70-hour weeks and occasional weekends in our peak season. Training will be provided where and when needed. Drivers abstract and steel toed shoes/boots are a must. Our season goes from May to November.

Compensation $32 to $35 hourly rate, and seasonal health plan.

Job Duties

• Oversee deliveries (retail and commercial)
• Conduct equipment
• Logbooks
• Operate transport and loaders in a safe
• Use Smart Phone to capture delivery
• Day cab with automatic transmission
• Other duties, as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be 25 years or older (requirement for insurance purposes).
• AZ license required.
• Minimum of 2 years AZ driving experience.
• Moffat or forklift experience an asset but will provide
• No tarping and B-train experience considered an asset.
• High level of personal integrity.
• Strong work ethic.
• Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with strong communication

Work Conditions

• Return home daily.
• New equipment and all automatic day cabs.
• Overnight work start times vary from 7 pm to 6 am
• Overtime as required.
• Shift Work Required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
