Job Title: DZ Driver
Job Overview: North American Staffing Services is looking for an experienced DZ driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting gas/ propane cylinders.
Pay Range: $26 - $27
Shift Availability:
- Morning Shift
- 8 Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate Straight Truck to transport gas cylinders
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured
- Plan routes to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid DZ driver's license with a clean driving record
- 4 years of experience driving commercial vehicles, preferably with a DZ license
- Must have experience in handling dangerous goods
- Basic math skills for calculating delivery schedules and weights.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVER ABSTRACT
- MUST CVOR DRIVER’S ABSTRACT
