What you’ll do:

As an eCommerce Merchandising Student, we are looking for someone who can quickly learn the day-to-day aspects of the role while bringing a fresh perspective and new ideas to the table:

  • Ensure website is updated daily, weekly, monthly to reflect the key products/events to maximize sales, margin and store traffic. Through the use of analytics understand how the customer shops and adjust the offering and customer experience
  • Maximize placement of products and digital assets to drive sales, margin and store traffic
  • Determine browse refinement options by business category
  • Understand customer search and browse behaviour and tailor experience accordingly
  • Create strategy to drive traffic to lower performing areas of the website
  • Handle day to day operational questions through the online assortment inbox
  • Help with the regular reporting of financial and site metrics.

We are currently hiring eCommerce Merchandising Students to join the following categories:

  • Living/Fixing
  • Seasonal, Gardening & Party City

What you bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Management or a related discipline
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with Data
  • Previous Google analytics experience a strong asset
  • Previous Merchandising/eCommerce site experience a strong asset
  • Previous retail experience an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical mindset and able to use data to drive decisions
  • Customer focused while managing multiple competing demands from many stakeholders
