Family owned and operated for over 30 years, Great Lakes Greenhouses is the largest grower, shipper and packer of hydroponic cucumbers in North America. We are a 120-acre, state-of-the-art facility on one site, providing year-round production. Our mandate is to produce the healthiest, safest food. Responsibilities and Duties:

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Organization/planning abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Work with minimum supervision in a safe productive orderly manner
• Function effectively in a fast-paced working environment
• Read and understand electrical blue prints, schematic drawings and service manuals in support of installation, assembly, integration, testing, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance to electrical infrastructure, equipment and devices
• Identify, troubleshoot and present technical issues in a clear and concise manner
• Installation/integration of electrical systems to meet electrical safety standards
• Competent knowledge and understanding of electrical controls/PLC’s and programming capabilities (Alan Bradley) would be a strong asset
• Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and equipment would be a strong asset
• Valid electrician license in Ontario (442A and/or 309A)
