We are a leading fabricator of structural steel and overhead cranes located south of Edmonton in the Nisku Industrial Park, Alberta. The Position -

An opportunity currently exists for an Experienced Electrician. We are offering a competitive hourly rate and benefits. The position is based in Nisku, but travel will be required around Alberta.

The Ideal Candidate -

You will be involved in the manufacture, installation, modification and fault finding of electrical control systems on a variety of overhead cranes, hoists and other material handling equipment.

While the position is largely an electrical role, a well-rounded understanding of Building/Facility and Steel Processing Equipment maintenance is an asset.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Mechanically inclined.
• Skilled at reading electrical schematics and blue prints.
• Control panel wiring and relay logic an asset.
• Competent electrical knowledge.
• Experience with lifting equipment, their control systems and types.
• Knowledge of Inverters and electrical controls.
• Experience with cable glanding and terminating.
• A good natural communicator.
• A diligent worker who can operate within a team or autonomously as required.
• A good problem solver.
• A keenness to continue training on new equipment and legislation.
• Comfortable working at a heights.
• Able to pass a pre-screen drug & alcohol test.

Salary: $37.63-$39.33 per hour
