About the role

The EDI developer must perform programming work within a team under the direction of more senior members.

How you will make an impact

• Develop, test, and implement Electronic Data Interchange transactions;
• Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot FTP connection for Electronic Data Interchange transactions;
• Maintain EDI documentation as required to help in supporting clients;
• Ensure all Electronic Data Interchange transactions have been processed successfully and perform debugging activities if necessary;
• Other duties as required

We're looking for someone with

• Degree or Certificate in Management Information Systems required.
• two or more years of practical experience in a mature EDI environment
• Hands-on experience with the following is desired:

o Data communication methods, such as VAN, FTP, and AS2;

o Creation and troubleshooting of EDI mapping with GENTRAN software;

o Experience with mapping ANSI x12, EDIFACT standards;

o Working knowledge of a VAN; GXS is preferred.
