Engineering Manager – Tech Control Systems - Dartmouth Job at Randstad

The Engineering Manager – Control Systems will lead a team of project managers designing fuel safety systems for large industrial and utility boilers. The engineering manager will ensure projects are on schedule, provide technical assistance, allocate team members to new projects and manage a customer site travel schedule.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include proposal development and estimating, high level project management, allocating of resources, system field audits and sales trips.
Front line customer service in the form of email and phone calls is normal, as well as travel to various locations for onsite commissioning of FPS-supplied systems and equipment. Travel is typically limited to North America but other international destinations are possible. The Engineering manager is responsible for scheduling travel for team members, and although rare, the engineering manager may be required to travel to fulfil availability gaps.

  • Engineering Degree
  • 5+ years of Engineering management experience.
  • 10+ years of Engineering experience.
  • Valid Canadian Passport
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s License
  • Criminal background check and Drug testing will be required for access to our customer sites.

Summary
Training will be provided to ensure all designs meet FPS standards and applicable industry codes.
