Gates College of Business, Culinary & Healthcare is looking for a part time instructor in the Esthetics program at our Cobourg Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of the program in either an online format, in Campus or a combination of both, as well as the possibility of supervision of the onsite Esthetics Clinic.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is well connected in the field, possesses the related education, practical skills, excellent communication and strong organizational skills along with a professional attitude.
Candidate must have relevant post secondary education in the Esthetics discipline and a minimum four years practical experience in the field. Teaching, instructing or facilitating experience is an asset.
The candidate will instruct students using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, seminars, case studies, field assignments, and independent or group projects. They will prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students progress and provide supervision and support to field placement students.
Part-time hours up to 20hrs per week. Work weeks may be non consecutive or irregular. Typical days are Monday - Friday 9-1pm, Clinic is 1-3pm Tuesdays and Thursdays (selected times of the year)
$23/hour
Applicants will be asked to provide a Criminal Reference Check as a condition of employment.
