Experienced Carpenter Job at Rinaldi Homes
Local award winning home builder is looking for an experienced carpenter to complete tasks such as: backframing, basement strapping, finished carpentry.
Our high standard of quality is our priority, and we are known in the Niagara community for building quality homes and providing excellent customer service. Projects are currently throughout Niagara: Fonthill, Niagara Falls, Thorold, Welland, St.Catharines, Fort Erie.
The carpenter role includes:
- Responsibility for construction of our projects to a high quality standard
- Maintenance of professional safety & behaviour standards on our projects
- You must have the ability to read and build from drawings
- Material planning and ordering
- Performing quality control inspections
- Planning daily activities necessary to implement construction activities
- Completing scheduled work on budget and on time
Experience/Education:
- Fall Arrest Certificate, Working at Heights Certificate, and WHMIS considered an asset
- 4+ years experience in residential carpentry preferred
- Must be familiar with OBC and standard construction practices
Skills:
- A complete working knowledge of residential construction is required
- Hardworking
- Excellent at problem solving and conflict resolution
- Highly capable with ability to handle customers and other stakeholders with confidence
- Proven ability to record, prioritize, organize and follow through on all requests.
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail
