Family Housekeeper and Assistant Job at Goldstar Cleaning Services

This position has flexibility with days and hours you are available. Most scheduling occurs during standard daytime hours, with some evening or weekend hours available. ie. ((9 am - 1 pm) or (12 pm - 4pm) 3 - 5 days a week
Responsibilities include a variety of domestic tasks in keeping a home running smoothly, including:
daily meal planning and preparation, laundry, ironing, and stain removal, maintaining tidy and organised indoor and outdoor spaces, cupboards and storage, grocery shopping and running errands, light cleaning, scheduling and monitoring of household maintenance, interaction with children and adults.
No previous experience necessary, but work in a similar role is an asset (nanny, parent, cleaner, etc)
Skills that will be useful in this role are: pro active and an ability to anticipate the needs of a household, time management, flexibility, keen eye for detail, organized, up beat and out going, enjoy cooking and strong understanding of clothing maintenance
Criminal Record Check must be completed before employment can be given. Drivers License is preferred.
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
Salary: From $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fernie, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
