Financial Analyst Job at Georg Fischer
Your tasks
- Prepare profit and loss models, balance sheets and other management reports using Microsoft Excel to forecast financial results;
- Maintain confidential financial data;
- Establish budget variances and provide analysis for various levels of management;
- Actively participate in the deployment and implementation of a new system, SAP;
- Develop easy to use KPI monitoring and projection tools and dashboards to support the decision making process and to track and analyze KPIs on a regular basis;
- Identify and recommend process improvements within the finance department;
- Implement various analyses, collaborate with many other departments on a variety of special projects as needed by management.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or accounting is required;
- professional certification, such as a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, is an asset;
- 1-2 years experience in a similar position;
- Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to provide suggestions and recommendations;
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines;
- Excellent computer skills on Microsoft Excel;
- Thorough knowledge of general accounting methods, report and expense analysis, and journal entries is required.
