The Opportunity

InnPower is growing! Join us as a Financial Analyst. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in providing Accounting services. preparing financial statements for the InnPower group of companies and living our Values & Guiding Principles

This role is perfect for a data-driven professional who possesses strong attention to detail and focused on providing internal clients a great service.

Please note that this is a Remote opportunity, however some travel to InnPower offices and sites will be required.

Accountabilities include, but not limited to:

· Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements for the InnPower Group of Companies in accordance with current IFRS and Regulatory Accounting standards.

· Supporting month-end and year-end activities, including assisting in the preparation of the year end audits and budgets.

· Analyze and develop financing plans for large scale capital projects

· Ensure timely and accurate month-end close procedures, including posting recurring journals, monthly account reconciliations, development charges, balance sheet reporting, etc. for routine and complex accounts in accordance with IFRS reporting standards.

· Assist in the ongoing development and documentation of the departmental policies and procedures.

· Preparation of reports/analysis for Regulatory, Operations and Engineering as required.

Qualifications:

· 3+ years of progressive financial experience, focused on financial analysis and reporting

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required

· Enrolled and currently pursuing CPA at an intermediate/senior level.

· Strong understanding of IFRS, Development Charges Act and Regulatory requirements.

· Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word

· Excellent analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
