As a financial planner, you will play an important role with your clients. Through the 7 areas of financial planning, you will work closely with the team to help and advise your client in a distinctive and personalized way in achieving their life goals by developing their financial plan. Your work will allow you to develop your business relationships, your entrepreneurship, your advisory role and to put your leadership skills to good use. - Create personalized financial plans that meet the needs and objectives of your clients
- Identify clients' investment and financing needs in order to provide them with the best financial planning solutions
- Identify and exploit business development opportunities to increase the number of new clients and grow the volume of existing portfolios
- Monitor the evolution of client needs in order to provide tailored solutions and an outstanding client experience
- Ensure service and operational quality standards are met, as well as compliance and risk management
Competencies required
- Hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent recognized by the IQPF) as well as relevant experience in financial business development and advisory services
- Hold a Certified financial planner certification (CFP) or be on track to obtain it within the next 12 months
- Hold a Valid licence of Mutual Fund Sales Representative (MFSRs)
- Excellent knowledge of French is required, as you will be dealing with a French-speaking clientele
Preferred competencies
- Have portfolio management experience with business development objectives
- Good team player with a collaborative spirit
