As an essential member of the Canadian Banking Network, you're main responsibility is to provide exceptional service to your customers by managing a portfolio of high-value and/or complex small business owner relationships to achieve their goals and retention while meeting Scotiabank's Service Standard. You will also be able to create a strong presence within the local business community by developing relationships with various networks of influence, and engage with new and existing clients to build strong, ongoing relationships while providing comprehensive advice to enable them to build a successful business.

Requirements


Self-Identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit

Strong oral/written communication skills

Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience as a small business owner

Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle

Strong relationship building skills, enjoys meeting and interacting with people

Organizational skills, able to adapt to a constantly changing environment

Excellent business development techniques, familiar with small business legal structures and lifecycles, competitor offerings and alternate sources of financing

Results-oriented attitude, sound knowledge of the small business market, an understanding of financial statements, applicable risk management policies, legal and security documentation for small business products
