Aerotek is looking to hire a material handler for our client in Langley! This is a full-time, long-term job opportunity

Position requires that material, including aluminum and steel extrusions, be placed on shelves, picked off shelves and packed to expedite the product throughout the plant.

• On/off-loading of the product from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Using pallet jacks, and forklifts once trained
• Read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Attach appropriate labels to material while correctly counting and identifying materials.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Notify lead person or manager of any mechanical or material issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• All material handlers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production.

Equipment you may use tape measure, utility knife, chop saw and other various tools.

Pay Rate:

$22

Shift:

7 am - 4 pm (1 hour of paid lunch)

Must Haves:

• Comfortable with and has 6+ month experience with hand and power tools
• Can lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the day
• Can read a tape measure
• Comfortable using a computer
