Description: Giving our guests a memorable experience when they visit our Driftwood Social Bar + table through food and beverage. Ensuring brand standards are followed consistently.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Take care of our Guests in the restaurant, bar and the hotel from the time they enter the restaurant to when the leave the restaurant. Seat them, take their orders, place the order in the kitchen, serve the guest, close their bill and take proper payment, thank the guest, clean the table when the guest leaves.
- Ensure payments through POS is clear concise and tracked
- Work as a team with the co workers, with the kitchen and the front of the house team.
- Health and Safety guidelines to be followed.
CANDIDATE REQUIRMENTS:
- Must have experience working in a Restaurant for at least 2 years
- Strong analytical abilities, detail oriented and able to multitask
- Knowledgeable about food and beverage
- Must be computer literate
- Pleasant manner and excellent communication skills (written and spoken English)
- Able to lift up to 25kg from floor to waist and from waist to shoulder
- Able to stand/walk/bend/lift throughout 8 hours shift.
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Thorough and detailed oriented
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility in shifts: evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Marriott Experience an asset
- Smart Serve is a must.

Salary: $15.50 per hour
