Responsibilities

The Contract Faculty member will be responsible for teaching Foods and Nutrition 4471B (531) – Nutrition and Metabolic

Process, Thursdays 8:30am – 11:30am. This is a 0.5 credit course taught during the winter term 2024. The Contract

Faculty member must be available during the final exam period (April 11-30, 2024).

The Contract Faculty member will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including

preparing classes; preparing and administering tests/exams/assignments; and evaluating and submitting final grades. This

may include responsibilities preceding or following the academic year in matters such as the preparation and

administration of course syllabi, academic appeals and alleged scholastic offences. For a complete list of responsibilities,

refer to Article 36 in the Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

A Ph.D., either completed or in progress, is required in a kinesiology and/or nutrition field, with a focus on metabolism.

As this is a mandatory senior-level course within the Dietetics Specialization, previous university-level experience

teaching in the subject area is required.
