· Powerbev Inc., the exclusive direct store distributor of Red Bull Energy Drinks in Ontario and has grown to become one of the largest Red Bull distributors globally.

Role Overview:

The FP&A Manager provides strategic and financial partnership to the Organisation’s Leadership team. They achieve this through understanding our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to guide the Company’s performance. They lead the planning & reporting function, including annual budgeting and month end P&L reviews with Senior Leadership in addition to managing Customer Pricing & Supplier Billback functions. The FP&A Manager will own cashflow KPI’s and strategic business initiatives. Working closely with the CFO and Senior Leadership to build an effective and efficient function to drive the business forward and support scalable growth.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Create and lead a strategic planning process.
  • Own the Budgeting, Forecasting and Management reporting Processes
  • Partner with our internal accounting team on Month end processes, financial reporting, and preparation of GAAP financial statements.
  • Manage and perform special projects
  • Support ad hoc projects and help define process & systems improvements to support company growth.
  • Manage reporting process to ensure SMTs receive timely and relevant information to make decisions. This includes management of the preparation, issuance, and distribution of daily, weekly, and Period reports.
  • Provide KPI analysis, benchmarking reports and financial decision support models to identify trends and opportunities to maintain profitability and achieve growth as requested by the SMTs.
  • Champion process improvement and automation to improve workflow efficiency and controls

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

The ideal candidate will have a Post Secondary Education in Commerce, Economics Business, or Finance, plus a Professional Accounting/Finance designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA).

They will have 3-5+ years of experience in business planning, managerial accounting and financial management including a variety of progressive finance management roles.

Experience and knowledge in delivering budgets & forecasting, financial & variance analyses, business projects & financial accounting. They will possess advanced proficiency with ERP/financial accounting software and spreadsheet programs and applications.

We are seeking a candidate with a solid understanding of GAAP. They will possess sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills and will be able to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor.

They will be able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key business partners, customers, and suppliers.
