Job Summary

As a Fraud Associate you’ll team up with our best and brightest to learn, share ideas, execute and create innovative solutions that directly impact the industries and communities served by our business. As a Fraud Associate, you will act as a partner to our clients; you are embedded in our client's workflows, processes, and procedures, providing the right solution to tackle their complex challenges.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Liaising with large enterprise digital businesses, to assist them in identifying and solving real-time fraud challenges
  • Analyzing user analytics reports and dashboards, to determine patterns and threat vectors and help customers to fight potential fraud.
  • Identifying problems relating to anti-fraud and AML/ CFT risks for clients within their reports and programs, and recommending and making functional improvements.
  • Monitoring clients transactions, identifying, recording and reporting suspicious activity
  • Investigating fraudulent transactions for external clients
  • Collaborating on report ideas and system solutions with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring our clients are maintaining compliance.

About You

  • Educated. You recently obtained a degree in business, statistics, data analysis, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, history or a similar field of study
  • Discrete and ethical. You demonstrated ability to maintain high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality of sensitive, complex information
  • Analytical Thinking. You can use logic and critical thinking to analyze a situation.
  • Results & metric driven. You analyze data and trends to identify opportunities and create value propositions.
  • Pragmatic. You are organized, and able to set realistic priorities. You focus on solving problems at their root core with impeccable time management skills.
  • Adaptable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support a rapidly growing technology company
  • Exceptional communication skills. Whether it is written or verbal, people know what you mean, what you are asking for, and what is expected.
  • Proficient. Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, and G Suite Programs (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides)
  • Knowledgeable. Familiarity with Kibana, Jira, Confluence, Atlassian is an asset
