Our client Freshwater Auto Group is hiring for the In-House Maintenance team for a permanent full-time position to join their growing team in St John’s at the Freshwater Motorplex.

What You Will be Doing

• Basic carpentry tasks
• Painting as required
• Perform various general cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and organized environment, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste and debris
• Mowing grass and perform landscaping tasks
• Perform snow removal tasks during winter to ensure safety
• Conduct general and lot maintenance tasks effectively, including repairing fixtures and equipment, and maintaining the garage's machinery and tools
• Operate forklifts safely

What you will Bring

• A Class 5 NL Driver's license
• Experience in operating forklifts is an asset
• Relevant experience in a similar role is regarded as an asset
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work as part of a team
• Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting and operating equipment
