Our team at MaxSys is currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Counter Representative to join a well-established retail/hardware outfit in the Greater Moncton Area. Our client offers ongoing internal training to prepare for growth within the company, medical benefits and performance incentives to show their appreciation to dedicated employees.

Details:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday day business hours
• Pay rate: $17-$19/hr
• Bilingual language requirements: French & English
• Availability: Full time permanent availability during business hours required
• Some heavy lifting required at times

Your Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• General customer service duties creating a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for patrons while providing friendly, transparent and knowledgeable service at all times
• Processing sales, invoices, returns and exchanges
• Scanning materials for accuracy

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• Outgoing, positive and professional attitude
• Preserve a safe and clean work area by complying with rules and regulations established
• Attention to detail, able to accurately read labels, codes and long numbers in small print
• Aptitude to stay organized while working well with a team
• Must be comfortable working with POS systems, computers and processing cash/credit card/account payments
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Willingness to learn new tasks and ability to adapt to rapid changes

Additional information:

• For your safety, steel toe safety shoes are required without exception
• 1-2 Years of relevant experience required
